Our story began with The Original Bar, a converted Mercedes horsebox with custom-built bar and wood panelling, the most unique bar on wheels you may ever see, designed and built for our wedding. We wanted a bar that was unique, gave that ‘pub feel’ but also fit in with our outdoor festival style wedding.
We loved it so much we decided to open the bar up for others to enjoy.
We didnt stop there, over lockdown we converted an old disused horse box trailer into a little sister bar for those smaller events or for when space is tight. We named it Amélie’s, after our daughter who was born during the build!
We then designed and built a stylish indoor bar from antique furniture – turning something unloved in to something truly spectacular.

Hops & Scotch are a professional mobile bar service specialising in weddings and events in North Wales and the surrounding areas. We are kitted out with everything you could need in a mobile bar and can serve any number of guests, from garden BBQs to music festivals. We operate from our converted horsebox bar and our two custom made rustic wooden bars that can be erected in minutes. We are equipped with fridge's, freezer, pumps, coolers, glassware...everything you could need to make your day run smoothly. Whether it be a marquee, outdoor or indoor wedding, a festival, party, BBQ or even just a family gathering, we're so flexible we can pop up anywhere ( that has an electric power source! )
